The Helpmann Academy Creative Investment Fellowships are valued at up to $10,000. The Creative Investment Fellowships assists emerging creatives with ambitious projects and professional development programs to transform your practice and provide a launchpad for your burgeoning careers.

The Creative Investment Fellowships aim to fund significant opportunities tailored specifically to you. These opportunities will have a meaningful and vital impact on the development of your artistic practice, empowering you to progress in your career.

Individual artists or collectives can pursue customized professional development programs, larger-scale projects, or a combination of both. The self-directed programs may encompass a range of activities, such as engaging in residencies, receiving specialized training, participating in long-term workshops, or securing internships with recognized institutions or professional practitioners.

You can choose whether to undertake larger-scale projects independently or integrate the outcomes and learnings from your professional development programs. These projects have the potential to involve the creation of new artistic works, their exhibition or performance, touring, recording, or activities focused on developing new markets and audiences.

BEFORE YOU START YOUR APPLICATION

Interested applicants are encouraged to make an appointment with the Helpmann Academy to discuss your proposed application and receive guidance and advice on how you might be able to refine your proposed program and application.

Make sure you read the Information for Applicants guidelines thoroughly. It is also encouraged to submit a draft application for feedback before completing your final application. Draft applications must be received in Word format no later than Sunday 27 August 2023. Please send your draft application to info@helpmannacademy.com.au.
