Barber is Developer and Curator of Brautigan Bibliography and Archive, an interactive information structure noted as the preeminent resource on the life and work of Richard Brautigan. Generating from his archival work are Richard Brautigan: Essays on the Writings and Life, an anthology of essays about Brautigan's writings, life, and place in American literature, as well as entries regarding Brautigan in the Encyclopedia of Beat Literature.
