Vanessa V(ozzo) has been working in the art filed since 1990, specializing in media art since 2005, particularly in the field of interactive/open documentary, art and science/hybrid art.
Recently, she won the S+T+Arts Prize for Social Good and she exhibited in many important festivals and galleries like Ars Electronica (AU), Venice Biennale, York Art Gallery di York (UK), Musrara Mix Festival (Jerusalem). She has been teaching Interactive Media and Immersive Cinema at the Politecnico of Turin (IT) since 2014/2015. Since 2018, she has been teaching Interactive/Open Documentary at the Civica Scuola di Cinema "Luchino Visconti" of Milan (IT). Since 2020 she has been teaching Multimedia Design and Interactive Systems at the Albertina Art Academy of Fine Arts (IT). Since 2023 she has been teaching Performance and Augmented Reality and at the University of Turin (IT). In 2023 she has a temporary chair in Interactive Systems at the Verona Art Academy of Fine Arts (IT).
In 2014, she won a visiting research/teaching associate grant from EU (Grundtvig) at Brunel University-DAP LAB of London and she has a Master of Arts at the Interface Culture Master Program (Linz/Austria).
