Fei works interdisciplinarily and interdimensionally, moving across painting and new media. Rooted in nature as the original pivot of roots, knowing, and the spiritual space, her work focuses on the contemporary built landscape mediated through the cultural and technological interfaces. She often works at the intersections of art, nature, technology, and culture. Fei graduated with an MFA in Research based interdisciplinary art practice from UC Berkeley. She lives and works now in the Bay Area, California. She recently received the Berkeley Center for New Media Summer 2022 Research Fellowship and taught Digital Media Foundation at UC Berkeley Summer 2023. Her works have been exhibited recently at Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive (US), Worth Ryder Art Gallery (US), FASS Art Gallery, Sabanci University (TR), etc.
