Frank Ekeberg is a transdisciplinary artist, music composer and researcher working in the intersection of the natural and the constructed. His work explores issues of ecology, time, spatiality and radical change, with a particular focus on nature spaces, technopolitics and the interplay between human and non-human worlds. He holds a master's degree in electronic music from Mills College in Oakland, California, where he studied composition with Pauline Oliveros and Alvin Curran, and a PhD in electroacoustic music from City, University of London, UK, supervised by Denis Smalley. Primarily working with sound and using obsolete as well as emerging technologies, Ekeberg's artistic output includes generative installation art, immersive electroacoustic music, photography and interactive audio-visual creations.
