Lindsy Halleckson is an artist working at the intersection of art, science, and contemplative practice. Bridging modalities of knowing, her paintings evoke multi-sensory experiences heightened in solitude. Shown in galleries across the US and beyond, her work has been recognized through awards, residencies, fellowships, and grants including the Minnesota State Arts Board, Metropolitan Regional Arts Council/McKnight Foundation, and Puffin Foundation. She collaborates with atmospheric chemists on projects funded by NSF and NOAA, delving into the invisible atmospheric implications of climate change. Artist research residencies in the Arctic situate her work in northern climates. Her work is represented by Wally Workman Gallery.
