Celia Yang is a Tonmeister, sound artist, and researcher dedicated to integrating psychological principles into community-based environmental initiatives. Currently pursuing her Ph.D., she specializes in acoustic ecology and immersive ambisonic technologies. Her work aims to foster community engagement and increase awareness of environmental issues. Passionate about utilizing acoustic ecology as a tool for societal well-being, Celia leads the environmental listening project, where she quantifies psychoacoustic metrics to design and manage acoustic ecosystems. Through her interdisciplinary approach, she strives to create meaningful connections between individuals and their surrounding ecosystems, ultimately contributing to a more balanced and sustainable environment.
