Melike Ceylan (she/her) is an artist and emerging scholar in the field of music and sound arts. She specializes in electroacoustic music, experimental radio art, and interactive sound installations. Her portfolio consistently incorporates the human voice, reflecting her interest in its narrative, melodic, and timbral capacities. Melike has presented her works in various settings, including radio broadcasts, art exhibitions, interdisciplinary productions, and live performances. She holds a PhD in Music from the University of Calgary, where she conducted artistic research that explores contemporary radio art and mediated voices through a creative portfolio. Melike is also an award-winning radio programmer and currently hosting Vocal Cords at CJSW FM in Calgary.
