Minka Stoyanova is an artist-theorist – drawing on cyborg-theory to investigate the real and speculative effects of technology in society. Her current research explores the augmentation of urban space through interactive technologies. She holds a Master of Fine Art (MFA) from the Glasgow School of Art (Scotland) and completed her PhD in Creative Media at the School of Creative Media, City University of Hong Kong. She is currently an Assistant Teaching Professor at Clark University, Becker School of Design and Technology. Minka is also an alumna of the Fulbright research grant program (Bulgaria) and was an NSF Computing Innovation Fellow.
