EDSON ZAMPRONHA is a composer and does research on experimental music and sound art. Focusing on new technologies and interactivity, he explores their bearing on creation and performance. He received two awards from the São Paulo Association of Art Criticism, the Sergio Motta Award on Art and Technology (Brazil), and was awarded for his Entire Career by the Brazilian Festival of Contemporary Music (2017). He has received commissions from different institutions, including the Museum for the Applied Arts (Cologne, Germany), and the São Paulo Symphonic Orchestra (Brazil). He is an Associate Professor at the University of Oviedo, Spain.
