Carol Zou is a social practice artist whose work focuses on creative strategies to organize communities around racial justice, public space, and social inequality. She has been publishing and creating works unpacking trauma, disability, and healing as it relates to community care since 2016. Her collaborative project with Aileen Omura, a disabled Okinawan senior citizen in Little Tokyo, brings to life Omura's drawings of futuristic infrastructure that reflect her navigational needs as a disabled senior citizen.
