“Good things come to those who wait.” — English proverb
This interactive experience revolves around the concept of waiting. What is waiting? Waiting is a kind of inaction, a delay. It’s defined as staying inactive while expecting something to happen. When you wait for something or someone, you spend some time doing very little, because you cannot act until that thing happens or that person arrives.
This project was inspired by the main themes of “Waiting for Godot”, encompassing the human condition, absurdism, nihilism, and the significance of hope. The famous play revolves around the characters' endless waiting, boredom, and the pervasive nihilistic atmosphere, reflecting on disorientation and confusion about reality. Additionally, the psychological aspects, emphasizing the connection to certainty, control, and the management of anxiety through awareness and redirection.
