Kathleen Quillian is an interdisciplinary artist living and working in Oakland, CA. She received her MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute in 2003. Since then, she has exhibited multimedia installations, "live cinema" performances and single channel work in galleries, museums and festivals around the San Francisco Bay Area as well as nationally and internationally including Pacific Film Archive, the San Jose Museum of Art, SITE Santa Fe, Aurora Picture Show, Other Cinema and International Film Festival Rotterdam, among others. She has been deeply entrenched in the community of the renowned microcinema Artists’ Television Access for many years, both as a staff member and a board member and is also a curator for the Temescal Street Cinema in North Oakland. She has served as a juror on panels for several Bay Area arts organizations including the San Francisco Film Society, Artists’ Television Access and Headlands Center for the Arts. By day, she is the Membership & Communications Coordinator for Leonardo/ISAST.
