I have always been drawn to things that are
approximations of some idea of reality,
because they inevitably function as a foil
for that reality.
My images are parallel constructions,
borrowing and excerpting their schema and
details from other regions of existence.
Each is a channel for the exploration of
expectation and recognition.
The images in this series have their sources
in tabletop photographs I made in-studio with
a scale model architectural camera. Those
sources have been digitally selected and mani-
pulated on computer and then published via
