Craig Hilton
Craig Hilton is a New Zealand
scientist, artist and educator. After completion of a PhD in genetics
and biochemistry at the University of Otago in New Zealand, he took
a position at Harvard Medical School and then later at the University
of Massachusetts as an oncologist and immunologist. He then returned
to New Zealand in 2003 where he obtained an MFA at the Elam School
of Fine Arts. Various international journals have published his medical
research findings.
Craig Hilton's interests include the use of photography and other
media, to investigate the relationships between the photograph and
the viewer and to explore the intersections and interactions between
science and art, technology and biology.
