Bill Seeley is an Instructor in
the Department of Philosophy at Brooklyn College. In the Fall of 2003
he will be a Lecturer in Yale College at Yale University where he will
offer a seminar on the role that neurophysiology and cognitive science
can play in explanations of art and aesthetic experience. He received
an M.A. in Philosophy from CUNY Ì The Graduate Center in New York City,
and is currently a doctoral candidate there A.B.D. in the Program in
Philosophy and Concentration in Cognitive Science. His research is focused
on the neurophysiology of vision and aesthetic experience. He also has
an M.F.A. in sculpture from Columbia University. His welded steel constructions
and mobiles have been exhibited in New York City, Tokyo, and at The
Addison Gallery of American Art in Massachusetts. In 1992 he had a solo
exhibition of outdoor work at Yale University. He is represented by
Studio Facchetti in Brooklyn, New York. |
