Garfield Benjamin

Garfield Benjamin is a cultural theorist and digital media practitioner working on the technologically mediated future of humanity and its impact on/expression in contemporary culture. He holds a PhD from the University of Wolverhampton, now published as The Cyborg Subject: Reality, Consciousness, Parallax. His research covers computer games, science fiction literature, online media, privacy, avatars and digital art via conceptual detours through philosophy, psychoanalysis, computer science and quantum physics.
