This project illustrates hyperacusis, a disorder characterized by an increased sensitivity to sound, through contrasting real-time auditory-visual interactions. This piece is dedicated to those who offered Kuo-Ying unwavering support and medical care in Boston in 2006 and 2007, reminding her of the strength found in the community. This project illustrates hyperacusis, a disorder characterized by an increased sensitivity to sound, through contrasting real-time auditory-visual interactions. The first part features the mechanical startup sound of an air conditioner, creating a vibratory experience that evokes an oppressive spinning sensation in colorful, dizzying visuals paired with a loud, metallic noise. In the second part, the reaction generates an irregular fluctuation that emphasizes flashing signals, which feedback into the ambient human voices. These sounds come through a speaker that makes them sound louder and more jarring than usual. The final part showcases a musical performance that contrasts high-frequency and low-frequency sounds, creating a smooth swirl and rippling effect that highlights the differences between the two through lightness.

本作品透過對比的即時聽覺與視覺互動，呈現了聽覺過敏症（Hyperacusis）對聲音異常敏感的狀況。
第一部分以空調啟動時的機械聲為主，產生震動般的體驗，伴隨著刺耳的金屬噪音與色彩眩目的旋轉畫面，營造出壓迫與暈眩的感覺。
