Location: Remote

Leonardo is seeking freelance copyeditors to edit academic articles at the intersection of art, science, and technology.

Responsibilities

• Review manuscripts (1500-5000 words) for clarity, coherence, and consistency

• Ensure adherence to Leonardo's style guidelines and the Chicago Manual of Style

• Remediate errors in spelling, punctuation, and syntax

• Maintain accurate citations and references throughout manuscripts

• Communicate clearly and professionally with the editorial team

Qualifications

• Previous experience in copyediting academic texts

• Proficiency in the English language, including grammar, spelling, usage, and style

• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines • Background in art, science, or technology preferred
