Scope
Title: From Artificial Intelligence to augmented wisdom: How can we co-create the future for a healthy planet?
Editorial Advisory team: Diana Ayton-Shenker, Roger Malina, Termeh Rassi, Wu Qiong, Fang Xiaofeng,

The velocity of development in AI and its application is exponential. The health of our planet will depend on our ability to go from artificial to augmented, from intelligence to wisdom. We need to co-create solutions for the future and design for the unintended consequences of using increasingly advanced technologies.

Leonardo, in collaboration with Zhuangshi Journal of Art and Design, invites proposals exploring these themes for publication in a special bilingual issue of Leonardo.  We welcome submissions from all disciplines and, in particular, are interested in the following questions:
What are some emergent lessons from art, science, and technology that can prepare us for what is to come?
Looking to the future, what will make our connections human and humane?
How do we protect against techno-determinism/utopianism, and how do we guard against resistance to change?
Can AI imagine?
How does AI impact learning?
What does it mean to co-create with technology?
