Dušan Barok is an artist and researcher. He is founding editor of the platform for collaborative studies of the arts, media and humanities Monoskop. Dušan Barok graduated in information technologies from the University of Economics, Bratislava, and Networked Media from the Piet Zwart Institute, Rotterdam. He worked as a research fellow at the Media Studies Department of the University of Amsterdam. He has been involved in several artist-run initiatives, and exhibited, gave workshops and lectured internationally.
