Linda DementArtistat --
Linda Dement has worked in arts computing since the late 1980s. Originally a photographer, her digital practice spans the programmed, performative and virtual. She deals with issues of disturbance, commingling psycho-sexual corporeality with the digital and electronic, giving form to the difficult territory of the unbearable and conflicted. With a long standing interest in bodies and technologies she has worked, in collaborations and solo, across code, robotics, roller derby collisions, excessive fluids, inhuman code entities and heart tissue cutivation.
