Scaruffi is a cultural historian and cognitive scientist who has lectured in three continents and published several books on Artificial Intelligence and Cognitive Science. He pioneered Internet applications and Artificial Intelligence in the early 1980s and the use of the World-Wide Web for cultural purposes in the mid 1990s. He is the author of 30 books on subjects ranging from rock music to Artificial Intelligence. Scaruffi is the founder of the Leonardo Art Science Evening Rendevous.
