A musicologist specializing in musique concrete, a composer of cabaret music and a Visiting Lecturer in the Telematics Department of the Open University, UK, Carlos Palombini has held fellowships and studentships from the Rockefeller Foundation, the British Council, the Goethe-Institut, the National Research Council (CNPq), the Office for the Development of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES) and the National Art Foundation (Funarte).
