Rene Beekman is an artist working with moving-image and sound related electronic media, whether that be video or computer genarated. His videotapes and installations have been shown around the world, both at festivals and group- and solo-exhibitions over the past decade. Currently his work is evolving in a direction of a merging of media, a convolution of theories and practises on the cross-analysis and (re-)synthesis of digital sound and image.
