Jameson's work involves the intersection of art and science. She uses neuroimaging technologies to display parts of the brain that are rarely seen outside of the medical and scientific community. Her works consists of a series of initmate portraits based on magnetic resonance images (MRIs) and other digital scans, exploring the wonder and complexity of the brain.
