I hold an AA in Advertising Design and a BS in Graphic Design from the Lebanese American University, a MA in Visual Communication with an emphasis in time-based media from the University of Central England in Birmingham and a MFA from Boston University in Graphic Design where I used motion design as a medium of production. I have extensive teaching experience working with university students and thoroughly enjoy teaching.
My PhD project is a practice-based research that explores conceptual communication in traditional Lebanese objects through digital technology and design innovation within a contemporary context. I am currently very interested in the relationship between motion design, industrial design, sustainability, digital media, and heritage. I find that design offers endless research possibilities that are enriching and interesting. I have presented and published my research within various international contexts.
I work to extend such enthusiasm for design and learning to the students that I teach.
