Tom Martin is the Interim Co-Executive Director of the Virginia Tech  the Institute for Creativity, Arts, and Technology. He is also a professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, with courtesy appointments in the School of Architecture, the School of Design, and Computer Science. He received his Master's and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. His research and teaching interests include wearable computing, electronic textiles, and interdisciplinary design teams for intelligent devices and interactive environments.
