Artist-Researcher, Curator & Theorist – Franco-Argentinian – Based in France
Diego Jarak creates immersive experiences that bridge academic research and artistic experimentation, with a focus on media, memory, and collective representation. He holds a dual PhD in Philosophy and Latin American Studies (UBA/Aix-Marseille) and directs the PoLiCÉMIES Lab at La Rochelle University.
His major projects include NANOmusée (2022–25), a mobile nanotechnology museum, and Mobile Biolab (2020–23), combining biology and public art. Artistic highlights include Legible Journey (2025), Insitorium (2019–21), From X to X (2019), and Graff’enTour (2018), which interrogate perception and digital narration.
Jarak also curates for institutions like the Centre Pompidou and leads the ZERO1 Festival of Hybrid Arts. His scholarly publications explore research-creation and participatory art in public space.
