Carol Siri Johnson has a B.A. from Mount Holyoke College and a Ph.D. from the CUNY Graduate Center. Her book, The Language of Work: Technical Communications at Lukens Steel, is an analysis of written communication at one company over a period of 150 years. Recently she built a website database of 18th century court records from Calcutta, India (https://hydebooks.njit.edu/) and is working on a biography of Robert Erskine, Surveyor General to the American Army during the Revolution.
