Edward J. Martin is a teacher and researcher based in
Edinburgh, UK. Specialising in sonification, bioinformatics, and science
communication, his work incorporates computational scientific research,
sonification algorithm development, and science communication through sound
art; his writing is published in Zoo Biology, BMC Bioinformatics, and Biological
Conservation. Collaborating globally with artists, scientists,
researchers, and musicians, he talks and performs internationally, with recent
events in New York, Brighton, Manchester, and Munich. 

He currently lectures in science communication and public
engagement at the Edinburgh Medical School, University of Edinburgh, UK.
