Her advancements in embodied creativity elucidate complex processes wherein implicit, tacit, and explicit knowledge is cultivated through dynamic systems thinking, integrating principles of 4e cognition and practice as research. She is adept at utilizing computational models for creative exploration and facilitating alternative pathways for creator-researchers to recognize, value, and implement embodied knowledge within creative endeavors including designing learning environments. She is currently working with Deep Learning (AI) and has active research interests in:
– interdisciplinary creativity within real, virtual and augmented reality environments
– the impact of embodiment on creative processes across diverse knowledge systems
– innovating and adapting research methodologies, and learning environments to better address complex questions and real-world challenges
– the dual role of affordances and conditions in embodied practices, considering their potential as both limiting and generative factors
Teague-Mann holds a Doctorate in Education from Alverno College, a Terminal Degree with Distinction in Choreographic Performance Creation from City University London, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance from Jacksonville University.
