Dr Ruichao Wang is a creative technologist and interdisciplinary researcher with a PhD in Creative Technologies from De Montfort University. Her work explores the intersection of interactive narrative, live performance, and audience emotion, using tools such as facial expression recognition (FER) and real-time feedback systems. With a background in theatre, film theory, and digital media, she develops emotion-based interactive frameworks that enhance narrative engagement. She is also a published author of interactive novels and has contributed to several research projects combining art, technology, and human experience.
