Kuo-Ying Lee earned a doctoral degree in music performance from the University of North Texas. In 2013, she was invited to serve as an assistant professor at National Chiao Tung University and Tsing Hua University in Taiwan. Kuo-Ying Lee has engaged in a variety of notable activities, including hosting a lecture-recital at King's College London and the Mark Hilery Arts Centre at Durham University in July, 2024. From 2019 until February 2025, Kuo-Ying Lee served as an associate professor at the College of Music at Zhaoqing University. She is currently an independent researcher.
