My practice-based research concerns itself, for the main part, with human-audio interaction in mixed-reality environments, exploring the human experience with(in) new and emerging audio technologies such as dynamic binaural audio and interactive surround sound systems. I'm also interested in sound studies and the philosophy of sound technologies, specifically the concept of sonic ethnography, which inform my work and often provide initial points of enquiry and departure. I’m currently a researcher and artist based at the University of Nottingham’s Mixed Reality Laboratory and Virtual and Immersive Production Studio.
