Transdisciplinary Artist & Researcherat Central Saint Martins, University of Arts LondonNeoMeta* (Julia Shu) is a London-based Ukrainian transdisciplinary multimedia artist and experimental researcher, with an MA in Art & Science at Central Saint Martins, University of Arts London (CSM, UAL). Learning from, with and for nature, my works lie at the intersection of art and science, nature and technology and aim to create multisensory, universal metaphors that reconnect human and non-human beings to find the balance in-between and nurture a harmonious multi-species world. Through immersive audiovisual spatial art and experimental fieldwork, I explore the interconnectedness of life and non-life within the endless entropy of the universe, unfolding transdisciplinary and transcultural collaboration. NeoMeta strives to build a foundation for the multi-species flourishing and reimagine our, human, place in the interconnected web of life, catalysing a paradigm shift towards peaceful and sustainable coexistence for all through listening, understanding, empathy and care.
