Be Andr, born Bjørnar Holm Andresen, is a Norwegian artist residing in London, UK. Andr has a PhD in painting from the Royal College of Art, where he has been researching the encounter between humans and algorithms and their impact on the real of painting. Andr´s art explore images in relation to language. Andr has created public art installations in various locations, including Oslo, Norway; Mare Street, Hackney, London; Howick Place, Victoria, London; and Corso della Repubblica, Fabriano, Italy. His works have been exhibited at the Bomb Factory Art Foundation, UK; the Herzliya Museum of Contemporary Art, Israel; La Posta Foundation, Spain; and CCA Andratx Art Centre, Mallorca, among others.
