Kinga Anna Gajda

Professor of cultural studies, doctor of literary studies. Her research interests include issues related to memory, heritage, and intercultural competencies. Has been a visiting scholar at Szwecja, Uppsala University (Sweden), Pázmány Péter Catholic University (Hungary); University of Pécs (Hungary), Universität Wien (Austria), Freie Universtät Berlin (Germany), Universität Leipzig (Germany), Univerzita Komenského v Bratislave (Slovakia), Univerzita Palackeho v Olomouci (The Czech Republic), University Babes-Bolyai (Romania), The School of Advanced Social Studies (Slovenia), New Bulgarian University (Bulgaria), Masarykova univerzita (The Czech Republic). She completed an internship in, among others, European Center for Educational Resilience at the University of Malta, Radboud University Nijmegen, Faculty of Communication and Information Sciences and Pedagogical University in Kropywnyckie in Ukraine. She has also authored three books and more than 60 articles, and received the awards of the Rector of the Jagiellonian University and Dean of Faculty of International and Political Sciences. She coordinated a lot of research and educational projects. She is a member of the Scientific Council of the Krakow Youth Society for Science and Arts under the patronage of the Jagiellonian University, a research assistant at The International Center for Clinic Psychology and Psychotherapy and a member of the Committee on Culture and Media Management at the Polish Academy of Sciences.
