Eun Ji Park is a researcher at Seoul National University’s Music History Society and a lecturer at Dongguk University. She currently delivers lectures at universities and corporations based on her research to elevate the value of music history, including popular music history and history of music technology. Having published numerous books and papers related to music history and technology, she has also served as a researcher at the KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology) Graduate School of Culture and Technology and the Seoul National University College of Music, Department of Musicology.
Graduating from Lycée Jean de La Fontaine in Paris, she obtained her French National Baccalauréat in Music and Technology (Diplôme du Baccalauréat Technologique de la Musique) and concurrently completed the Supérieur program at the Conservatoire National de Région de Rueil-Malmaison. Graduating cum laude with a Bachelor of Music from the State University of New York, she did her Master of Music from the Ewha Womans University School of Music and Master of Engineering from the KAIST Graduate School of Culture and Technology. Further, majoring in music history and theory at the Seoul National University College of Music, she graduated as valedictorian, with a PhD in Music.
