Jill Schneiderman is professor of earth science at Vassar College. She teaches courses in geosciences as well as feminist science studies. She is an interdisciplinary scholar who has published wiidely in peer-viewed scientific journals and is the editor and contributor to four books including The Earth Around Us: Maintainf a Livable Planet.
