Jake Friedman is a writer, editor, and culture worker based in Phoenix, AZ. He currently serves as the Public Engagement Coordinator for the Humanities Lab and ASU Leonardo at Arizona State University. Previously, he served in multiple positions with the Virginia G. Piper Center for Creative Writing. He is also or has been: the founder and director of an independent literary magazine and small press called Four Chambers; a proud moderator for the Mighty Central Phoenix Writing Workshop; a board member for Tolsun Books and the Northern Arizona Bookfest; a consultant for the good folks at Iron City Magazine; an intern with the Arizona Commission on the Arts; among other things. He lives in Phoenix with his partner and a cat.
