Julia Heurling

Julia Heurling is a PhD candidate at Planetary Collegium, Plymouth University, and have presented her research at conferences in Cairo, Corfu Town, Shanghai, Beijing, Plymouth, Athens and Porto. Her work explores repetition and meaning through photography based pattern and sequence. She has a ”Master of Arts with a Major in Textile Design” from The Swedish School of Textiles in Borås, and has designed patterns for wallpaper, textiles, porcelain and iPhone-cases. As an artist she has worked with public art commission, participated in artistic residencies, and exhibited internationally.
