Erika Lincoln is US/CDN artist, mentor, and researcher based in Winnipeg, Canada. Over the past 20 years, she has exhibited in galleries, media art festivals, and museums in North America, Europe, and Australia. As a multi-year grant recipient from the Canada Council for the Arts and the Manitoba Arts Council she has pursued a practice in new media and electronic arts centered around alternative ways of exploring and interpreting the world. Her method of artmaking is her way of speaking, from a perspective of cognitive difference, to the value of critique in the style of non-conformity, un-doing, mis-fitting, and troubling.
Erika has participated in many residencies including the Banff Centre Canada, Medialab Prado, Spain, and Plug-IN Summer Institute. Recent exhibitions include the University of Winnipeg, (Canada), Science Gallery (Ireland), MAT-UCSB (USA), Boston Cyberarts Gallery (USA), and The Bauhaus-Archiv (Germany).
