Vanina Hofman develops her work in a hybrid territory between academic research, education and cultural production. She is a lecturer at the Universitat Rovira i Virgili and she also collaborates with the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya.
Vanina focuses on the processes of remembering and oblivion in digital culture and the construction of unconventional art histories from a media archaeology perspective. She also rehearses approaches of divergent and creative practices for media arts preservation and archiving. Her research methodology is interdisciplinary and field grounded.
She is a member of the DARTS (Design, Art, Research and Society) research group.
