Sara Buoso is a researcher, curator and critic. From a background in art-history, she specializes in contemporary art criticism and curation within the field of photology, light-art and light-based practices as a PhD Candidate in Art Theory and History at Central Saint Martins (An Ethics of Light). She has presented her work at international conferences and published papers on the topic of light in scholarly journals (Outside the Spectrum), exhibition’s catalogues (Magdalena Fernandez. Ecos) and major magazines.
In 2018, she was convenor of the International Day of Light Symposium and Exhibition held at the University of the Arts of London. She is currently working on the project ‘Nova Contemporary’, an international platform on the topic of light and artistic practices.
