I am a cognitive psychologist investigating vision and visual cognition. This has often involved using eyetracking and other techniques to understand how attention functions in complex, social and dynamic situations. I received my PhD from the University of Nottingham and subsequently carried out postdoctoral research at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. Current interests include investigating attentional and representational biases in art, as well as applying eyetracking to realistic situations including galleries.
