Lefteris Kontopodis received his diploma degree from Athens School of Fine Arts, Department of Visual Arts (2025), from National Technical University of Athens, School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (2011) and from the Technological Educational Institute of Athens, Medical Instrument Technology Department (2004). During the period 2012-2021 he was a research associate at  the Institute of Computer Science of the Foundation of Research and Technology – Hellas, while in 2020 he presented his Ph.D thesis at the University of Crete, School of Medicine, in the field of Magnetic Resonance Image Processing. Since 2022 he teaches as a scholar at the University of West Attica, Department of Biomedical Engineering, while he is also an undergraduate student at the Athens School of Fine Arts.
His research interests include medical signal and image processing, as well as the connection between Art, Science, and Technology, by studying the human, the machine, and their relationship.
