Joel is a creative developer with a background on neuro-technology and music. Joel has a Masters in Computer Music and was awarded a scholarship for his PhD. in brain-computer music interfacing from Plymouth University, UK. Joel's creative works have been performed internationally and his research on bio-control systems for creative control has been widely published. The output of Joel's work has been showcased on TV shows such as BBC Click and The Gadget Show, and featured on BBC Radio 3, Radio 4, and the World Service. Joel has extensive experience working in both the education and tech sectors and advises and consults across both in areas including pedagogical best-practices, community engagement, and learning strategy.
