Silvia Laurentiz is an Associate Professor in the Department of Fine Arts and in the Post-Graduate Program in Visual Arts at the School of Communication and Arts of the University of São Paulo. PhD in Communication and Semiotics (PUC-SP, 1999), "Livre-docência” (postdoc writing) in Arts (ECA/USP, 2011). She is also Coordinator and founder of the Research Group Realidades (2010 – current, website at http://www2.eca.usp.br/realidades/en/ ). Researcher and Multimedia artist interested in virtual and augmented reality, interactive environments, multimedia installations, AI, and web art.
