Predominantly exhibiting in the public realm, Duke’s engaging installations are site inspired, capturing the spirit of a place and its people in the ‘here and now’. The artworks incorporate participants’ stories, points of view and ideas or respond to community engagement, exploring the nexus of social relationship and cultural identity in connection to place. The outcomes are meaningful artworks that endorse perceiving our surroundings with a renewed curiosity and awareness. Duke is currently completing a master degree in art therapy
